HCC Foundation at a Glance
The Hillsborough Community College Foundation's primary purpose is to raise private gifts from the community for scholarships, capital and other projects, institutional priorities and unmet needs.
In 2010-2011, $1.4 million in scholarships was awarded to 1,600 deserving HCC students. We thank our generous donors for making this assistance possible.
However, more assistance is needed. The current economic environment is driving increased enrollment. This academic year HCC has a 17% increase in enrollment. This means there are 7,000 additional students who need help!
One third of enrolled students are in documented financial need and require financial assistance in order to attend classes. Please consider making a gift to the HCC Foundation so these students can achieve their educational goals and dreams.
